Who, what, when, where?
Well, to start my name is Jacquie Childers; I was born during a blizzard on December 22, 1977.
Today I live and work in New Jersey as a freelance web and graphic designer/developer with a touch of illustration thrown into the mix.
A few nitty-gritties…
- I am a self taught designer and artist with a focus on accessibility and standards driven presentation and code.
- From 2001-2004 I was the Art Director and Web Developer for Niya, a non-profit focused on innovative and peaceful solutions for social and environmental issues.
- I began working for the Unexpected Pit Bull in 2006, a project that celebrates pit bulls by illustrating their stories in a professionally photographed calendar and donating the net proceeds to pit bull friendly non-profits.
